Autumn Yin and Wreath Ritual

Yin Yoga · Seasonal Ritual · Autumn Wreath Making
As the season starts to set in, we gather for an evening of slowing down, softening, and embracing autumn
together.
Autumn invites us to turn inward — to release what no longer needs to be carried, to embrace a gentler
rhythm, and to find beauty in change. But transitions are not always easy. Sometimes, slowing down can
feel unfamiliar, and moving from one season into another can bring its own emotions and resistance.
This evening is an invitation to meet that transition consciously, in community and without rushing.
We will begin with a slow, nourishing Yin Yoga practice, creating space in the body and mind to pause,
breathe, and settle into the present moment. Through longer, supported poses and quiet observation, we
will gently shift from the energy of summer toward the more inward rhythm of autumn.
After the practice, we will continue the evening with a seasonal wreath-making workshop. Working with
hydrangeas and other botanical elements — either freshly gathered to naturally dry over time, or already
dried and ready to arrange — we will create our own autumn wreaths.
The wreath becomes more than a beautiful seasonal decoration. It is a small reminder of the cycle of
nature: blooming, changing, letting go, drying, transforming, and becoming something new.
A cozy evening to:
● slow down and reconnect with yourself
● consciously welcome the changing season
● nourish your body through gentle Yin Yoga
● work with natural seasonal materials
● create something beautiful to take home
● make space for the feelings that can come with transition and change
Come as you are. No experience with Yin Yoga or wreath making is needed. We will provide all the
materials you need. Wear something cozy and warm.
Let’s embrace autumn not by rushing into the next season, but by pausing long enough to truly arrive in
it.

Monica Kobelt

I am Monica, a Yoga tracher trained in Hatha Yoga and Pranayama, as well as Yin Yoga. My own journey with yoga began simply out of curiosity and a desire to explore the practice for myself. Over time, I began to experience its deeper benefits—not only on a physical level, but also mentally and spiritually.

Yoga gradually became much more than a physical practice for me. It became a way of connecting more deeply with myself, finding balance, and creating space for awareness and presence.

This journey inspired me to share the beauty of yoga with others. It brings me great joy to practice together, to create a welcoming space for connection and exploration, and to support others in discovering what yoga can bring into their own lives.

I teach in English.
